Ah! AussiePride! That seems a dead giveaway already. Such a strong, forceful term, not willing to tolerate any other culture or take any of their bullshit or consider anyone else's right to eat curry regularly or wear a headscarf. Yes, it's a strong, forceful name like White Pride and White Power and Aryan Nation!

It's not as clever as the obscure reference to something connected to the Nazi death camps where they took the Jews to the ovens but generally the Aussie nationalists don't go much for that intellectual bullshit.

Have you got your Aussie flag cape handy? It's always good to be prepared to have your strong colours of nationalism ready to go out there and shove them in the face of those shifty brown people. I'm pretty sure I can take it as a given that you have a bumper sticker that tells everyone to Love It or Leave It.

I bet you're the type of guy that goes up to the DJ at a club or bar if they're playing Punjabi MC with Jay-Z or some classic Donny Hathaway funk/soul to tell them to cut the spearchucker music so you and your mates can start having a good time and shouting along with Khe San. Fuck it, any Chisels would be better than that shit.

I'm really trying to make out exactly what point you're intending to make there. Of course I'm aware of the bigoted history of the KKK and the activities of intimidation still in use today.

Camp X-Ray was a fantastic strategy as somewhere to take the "enemy combatants" that was less than US territory so they could be tortured until they died or told their captors what they thought they wanted to hear. I'm a little lost as to why you'd use that as an example of any point you're trying to make. Surely you would have been supporting the sheriff taking on the Axis of Evil, with his little deputy Howard tagging along to prove what a big man he was. Didn't you feel safer knowing that some of those Muslim terrorists were taken off the streets?

The indigenous peoples of North America who faced many, many merciless slaughters at the hands of the invading colonists - much like the genocide of Tasmania's indigenous people at the hands of the British. At the time it was believed that Truganinni was the last of those people to be murdered and that was seen as a good thing.

Is that some sort of scattergun response designed to confuse me in some way? Are you justifying that, because there aren't the corpses of black men, women and children - those Strange Fruit - we're not as racist as they have been in the US so there's nothing we should be doing about the apparently "just right amount of racism" in this country?

Are you saying the Lebos were asking for it?

Do you believe that the ire of a nation of over a billion people, over the habitual bashing of Indian students is something we should just make them understand is simply the way things go?

And the only thing I can see that I've written that you may be confusing with an American swear word is 'motherucker' which, ironically, was intentionally spelled that way and was coined by two Kiwi boys who perform under the name of Flight of the Conchords so maybe I'm not actually the one that needs to brush up on the research.

Hi there,
Have just read your comments and I agree with you on so many points. Cronulla, Alan Jones (have always hated even hearing that man's voice), Pauline Hansen (her evil comments are like fingernails on a chalkboard), Howard and his disgusting laws on asylum seekers, Australia's shameful history of maltreatment and abuse of Aboriginal people ... but, I'm sorry, I still can't agree that the Red Faces skit was racist. ??

I saw Bill O'Reilly's take on the skit and was compelled to write a short note to his show. My email might help to explain MY take on this > http://bit.ly/2HgiiY

Cheers.
